Gamer Obscura was a monthly opinion piece I ran for Hyper Magazine that dealt with gaming and (my second love) the silver screen. This particular entry was in response to the hubbub around The Last of Us being turned into a film way back in 2014.
Since then, we’ve received the HBO television adaptation (episode 3, huh? <3), but I still hold true that Children of Men is the best The Last of Us film.

Places was a monthly column that delved into iconic (or much beloved) … er … places from video game worlds. This particular entry took us to the Eternal Kingdom of Zeal from Chrono Trigger – still one of my favourite games to date.

Indie Games was a regular column for Smith Journal that introduced easy-to-access independent games with a pop-culture hook to a non-gamer audience. Slender: The Nine Pages was simply too spooky to avoid.
